How to Hang a Fabric Backdrop

So you just received your brand new fabric backdrop! Now what?

After setting up your new backdrop stand, it's time to hang up your backdrop. While this can be a two person job for larger backdrops (larger than 10ft wide), it is possible to hang one by yourself.

Step 1: After you've set up your BE Pro Backdrop stand. Make sure the uprights are either at the lowest setting or a little above eye level.

Step 2: Open and unfold your backdrop. Locate the rod pocket. Take one side of the crossbar from your stand off of the upright stand and slide the backdrop onto the crossbar. Make sure the backdrop design is facing outward.

Step 3: Depending on the size of your backdrop, you may have to bunch and pull the backdrop onto the crossbar like a curtain. Once the backdrop is on the cross bar, simply return the crossbar to the upright stand.

 
Step 4: Straighten out your backdrop, making sure to center it on your crossbar.

Step 5: Adjust the bottom of your backdrop. Use Gaffers Tape or painters tape to secure your backdrop to your floor. 

 *For taller backdrops, raise your upright stands using the wingnuts to the desired height. We recommend using the wingnut at the top of your upright and extending that fully before extending the upright fully.
